Orders

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Spoiled Rotten's web site. Shopping and ordering online is easy! Simply choose a category that you'd like to browse, when you see something you like, click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button underneath that item. The item is automatically entered into your shopping cart. Your shopping cart automatically keeps track of all your items until you are ready to check out. You can see what is in your shopping cart at anytime by clicking on the shopping bag icon at the top of the page. Here you can review your items and make any necessary changes before you check out.

Checking Out

When you have completed shopping, simply click the "Proceed to Secured Checkout" button. Nothing will be billed to your account until you have completed the checkout process. The first time you purchase an item, you will need to set up an account “my account” or you can checkout as a guest. Please follow the instructions when setting up an account on each page which will lead you to select a password to save your account information, so that the next time you shop, the computer will automatically fill-in your information.

Please be sure to print out a copy of your order confirmation after "placing order" however if you forget can can always log into "my account" at anytime, view order history and print out your order if you have set up an account. Also note that your order # will appear on your printed order confirmation and you will receive a seperate email notification with your order # that your credit card transaction was processed.

Payment Options

We accept credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard or American Express cards as payment for orders. Note that all orders will be charged at the time you order, if placed for either on line or telephone orders. If you decide to cancel the order within the time allowed according to the cancellation period, your credit card will be immediately refunded.

Ordering Offline

We encourage you to place your order via our secure server online, however if you have any concerns about ordering online, please call us at (516) 677-0707. We can be reached us via our customer service answering hotline and we will get back to you promptly.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be charged only on applicable items which are shipped within the state of New York. There will be no sales tax charged on items shipped outside of New York.

Status (My Account)

If you’d like to check the status of your order, we encourage you to refer to a copy of your order where you will find the lead time for the items you ordered and log into "my account" to check the status of your order. Please note that the lead times reflected are approximate, and are for the production time needed to complete your items. Shipping transit times add one to three weeks to your lead time depending on the item shipping method used and destination. Small items such as accessories and bedding are shipped via UPS and should be delivered to the specified shipping address within three to five days of the lead time noted. Delivery of furniture may require up to three weeks since specialized in-home furniture carriers take great pride in transporting and delivering your items safely.

You may also check your My Account profile for updates on the status of your order or click & complete the "order status" form at the bottom of each page. Once an item has been shipped, this information will be reflected in My Account & an email notification will be sent to you. Security

Shopping online at Spoiled Rotten is not only convenient, it is extremely secure. We have taken extensive measures to ensure your complete privacy and security. Our site is equipped with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, a highly secure on-line ordering process. This means that the personal data you send to Spoiled Rotten (name, address, phone number, credit card information, etc.) is encrypted for your protection during the transmission process and can only be decoded by Spoiled Rotten. This ensures that no unauthorized person can view your information.

Terms

When you complete Spoiled Rotten's member registration process, you agree to all of the terms herein and the return & exchange policy as set forth in this section. Spoiled Rotten may update these terms and will notify you via our monthly newsletter or a prominent posting on this customer service page. Your continued use of Spoiled Rotten after such notification indicates that you accept any and all changes. Users who do not subscribe to our newsletter are encouraged to check this page periodically for any changes.

Our manufactures rates and offerings may change from time to time. As a result, prices and availability of items in our collection, including those saved in your My Favorites folder, are subject to change until orders are placed. When placing orders, charges reflected in your Shopping Cart, including merchandise & shipping prices, are subject to correction in the event of calculation or printing errors. If a pricing error occurs, Spoiled Rotten will contact you before proceeding with your order.

Shipping time frames reflected in product descriptions are based on estimates from our manufactures. Spoiled Rotten reserves the right to amend product information and shipping schedules due to manufactures delays, changing conditions and product discontinuations. In the event of a shipping delay, Spoiled Rotten will notify you promptly, and cannot be held responsible for shipping delays beyond estimated delivery times.

While the Spoiled Rotten team works diligently to review the safety of all products, Spoiled Rotten cannot be held liable for accidents resulting in personal injury that involve a product purchased on the site. In addition, Spoiled Rotten is not responsible for copyright, registration or licensing infringement of products sold on the site.

Gift Orders

For your convenience, Spoiled Rotten is happy to ship your gift orders directly to the recipient. Simply fill out the shipping information and use the special gift card box to let us know what the gift card should say. We have also set up many corporate accounts for the purchase of gifts for clients.

Gift Registry

Register for your baby gifts at Spoiled Rotten via Babylist. This is a unversal registry system and you can select our store to order your gift.

Gift Wrapping

Most of our items can be gift wrapped however it may not be available for your item selected since it is shipped directly from the vendor. 

Finish & Color Samples for Furniture

Spoiled Rotten is happy to offer finish samples for most of the furnishings in order to help you make your decision. If you want to receive these items, please contact one of our Design Consultants by calling us (516) 677-0707. A credit card is required to process your request for samples and you will be charged at $35 for each sample set ordered. However, if you place an order for the item, you may keep the appropriate sample(s) to assist with your decorating and we will apply a credit charge against your actual order.

Shipping and Delivery

Small furnishings and décor accessories are typically shipped via ground service with small package couriers. Orders will arrive 5 to 7 business days from the date shipped.

Express shipping charges for items needed to be delivered in 2-Day or Overnight/Saturday delivery please contact us at customerservice@spoiledrottentoo.com or by calling us at (516) 677- 0707 for the specific charge related for this service. Also not all items are available with Express shipping options.

Standard shipping are based on the total price of the order and outlined in the chart below. Home Delivery & Shipping surcharges for oversized and furniture items are shown on each product:

Furniture & Measuring

Larger furniture requires special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are large and heavy, we must ship them via Standard Home Delivery with special in-home furniture carriers. Home Delivery or Shipping surcharges for oversized items are noted in an item's product page and in your Shopping Cart in the options area or in some cases you may be requested to call the customer service telephone line for a shipping quote and arrange this in advance.

Furniture that is shipped with an in-home delivery service via Standard Home Delivery will be placed inside the main threshold of the home. Because of our commitment to exceptional customer service, Spoiled Rotten also offers Premier Home Delivery for many oversized items in our collection. Upon delivery, the Premier Home Delivery carrier will unpack, place these furnishings in the room of your choice and discard the packing materials for you (assembly service is not provided). If Premier Home Delivery is available for an item, it will be presented as an option on an item's product page. If White Glove Service is desired which includes assembly of your product ordered please contact customer service by calling (516) 677-0707 and we will quote you a price for these extra services.

If you are ordering several pieces of furniture at that same time from the same manufacturer you may be able to save on freight carrier charges! In this case please contact us directly via phone and we can help you place the order.

If a furniture carrier is used to ship your item, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. When delivery appointments are missed, the shipping company may assess a missed appointment charge. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees will be due and payable upon deliver. It is important to measure carefully and correctly when placing orders for furniture items. The measurement for all our larger items are listed, but please take into consideration the dimensions of all doorways and entryways, stairways and banisters, tight corners and hallways and any fixtures or other obstacles that may interfere in the pathways from the delivery truck to where you want your furniture to be placed.

Freight Receipt & Damages

You must be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery. You may want to arrange for help the day your delivery is scheduled. Upon receipt of your furniture it is very important that you inspect the outside of the package and boxes very carefully. Please make note of any minor or major damage on the bill of lading before signing and WHILE THE DRIVER IS PRESENT. If damage is present on the outside of the box or package, ask the driver to wait while you inspect your furniture. Again note any damage on the bill of lading BEFORE SIGNING. It would be best to fully unpack the items prior to signing receipt in good condition. If you sign without making any notations, you are accepting the merchandise in good quality condition and a claim will be difficult to make. Please notify the freight company and Spoiled Rotten at (516) 677-0707 of the damage immediately. Damage resulting from shipping is the responsibility of the freight carrier and Spoiled Rotten will assist in filing a claim on your behalf. It is imperative that proper instructions be followed to result in a favorable claim. For several weeks save all packing material and boxes in case of a return or if they need to be examined at a later time.

Returns/Exchanges

Custom Items

Spoiled Rotten offers many custom-designed furnishings, furniture pieces, decorative accessories & personalized gifts, and other made-to-order items that are custom made especially for you. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on these items, as they are especially made to your specifications. If you wish to cancel an order for furniture or custom made items, you may do so within 1 day of the placement of the order. On the second day, your order will go into production.

Spoiled Rotten makes finish samples available to help you select the appropriate colors and designs for your décor. Because custom items cannot be returned, Spoiled Rotten suggests that you contact a Design Consultant to request a sample prior to purchasing custom items. There may be a small fee involved, but will be credited against your furniture order. You can email Customer Service or call us at (516) 677-0707.

Non-custom Items

Spoiled Rotten strives to provide our customers with the highest quality merchandise and an unparalleled shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your non-custom item, you may return it for a store credit less a 25% restocking fee. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and their original packaging.

Simply call us within 10 days of receipt of the item and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RA#), which is valid for 10 business days. Upon receipt of your approved return, Spoiled Rotten will issue a credit for the purchase price of your item(s) purchased (less the 25% restocking fee) or ship another item that you selected in exchange (taking into account the 25% restocking fee). Please note that shipping charges cannot be refunded by Spoiled Rotten; all shipping charges are the customer's responsibility. We encourage you to send all returns via insured mail for protection against lost or damage. Please include the following information when returning your item:

1- Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address
2- Reason for return
3- Order number and copy of original packing slip
4- Request for exchange or store credit
5- Ship to:

If you return an item after the 10 business day window, without a RA #, and/or Spoiled Rotten suspects an item has been used, the merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense. Also, if you choose to return an item that was shipped to you free of charge, you will receive a credit for the item’s purchase price minus the appropriate shipping costs as outlined on our Shipping and Delivery section.

Please note: All sales that are discounted and on sale are final sale.

Merchandise must be returned in its original condition, with original packaging and tags intact to ensure complete credit. Unfortunately, shipping costs originally paid can not be refunded and customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

For an items received that were found to be defective, in this case it will be replaced with no additional shipping fees, unless the items was purchased with free shipping, and in this case you will be charged our regular shipping cost.

Cancellations

Spoiled Rotten works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order please call us ASAP (within 1 business days of placing your order) at (516) 677-0707and we will do our best to cancel your order. If you order has already shipped, please see our Returns policy for further instructions.

Warranty Information

Spoiled Rotten upholds the warranties offered by the manufacturers who craft our furnishings. Because the scope and duration of our manufacturers’ warranties vary, we encourage you to ask a Spoiled Rotten Design Consultant for specific warranty information on products of interest.

Price Match Guarantee

Spoiled Rotten strives to offer you exceptional products at competitive prices. We will gladly honor a lower price from another American online store, as long as the items being compared are exactly alike. In order to match a lower price, it must be brought to our attention before the order is placed, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts. We will also match a product price even if this item is not offered on our website. We have access to 100's of manufacturers and would be glad to offer you the best price available. The guidelines for our Price Match policy are as follows:

  • The retailer and or website must be an authorized seller of the manufacturer.
  • The product must be identical (color and style) to the item you want to purchase.
  • The item must be in stock.
  • Price must be in US dollars.
  • Additional charges such as sales tax and shipping costs will be calculated to compare prices.
  • We do not price match auction sites or flash sale sites (i.e. eBay, One Kings Lane).
  • Some of our designers' lines are unable to be discounted under any circumstances.
  • We cannot price match any website that is advertising a daily deal, liquidation, or clearance prices.

New Product Submission

Spoiled Rotten is always on the lookout for new artists and designers. To share your work with us, please send us an email with as much information as possible about you and your work, including high res images of your designs and pricing.
